ACL Festival Facts:
- More than 130 bands play on eight stages and bring alive rock, country, folk, Indie, Americana, Reggae and Bluegrass.
- More than 65,000 people attend each day of the festival which is produced by C3Presents.
- Because the festival is in Austin, many artists who play here will perform after-shows at various venues in Austin. We’ll keep you up to date as announced.

It wasn’t long before the Austin City Limits Music Festival joined Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and Coachella as the United States premier rock festivals.
A three-day wristband allows you to leave and re-enter anytime you choose. One day passes cannot re-enter. You are allowed to bring two 32-ounce sealed water bottles, umbrellas and folding chairs. Parking is downtown Austin with free shuttle buses to the Austin City Limits Music Festival. Vendors provide food and alcohol inside the festival; no outside food allowed.
The average temperature in Austin during the last two weeks of September is 88 degrees. Fan misters are stationed throughout the park to help cope with a heat wave. In 2009, the Austin City Limits Music Festival was held in October for the first time; it rained which resulted in muddy grass and umbrellas everywhere.
