What to Expect? Before we get into the new and exciting components that are debuting on AustinConcertTickets.net in 2011, we must first take a moment to thank all our loyal fans. As most of you know, 2010 was the year of our launch. We were not sure what to expect; we just knew we loved concerts and Austin.
We wanted a site where our fellow Austinites could find Austin concerts and events in one spot. What we didn’t anticipate were how many visitors would come from all around the United States… Wait.. we’ll get to that in a moment, right now we’d like to give a gigantic THANK YOU to our 2010 visitors who’ve Tweeted with us.. spent time on this site, entered our Willie Nelson ticket contest, bought tickets through us, and supported our sponsors. We absolutely could not have continued growing AustinConcertTickets.net without you!
So what’s new for 2011, you ask?
One thing we alluded to above, was the unexpected demographics of our visitors. We have found that lots of you are from outside of Austin, and even outside of Texas. That got us to thinking.. Hmmm, if you’re interested in Austin concerts and live in Seattle, maybe you plan to visit us soon? Just look what we have included for you in our 2011 roll out.

A ‘Visit Austin’ section – Austin hotels, transportation, restaurants, maybe even meet local singles.
Austin Attractions – Fun things to do around Austin that may not even require tickets.
V.I.P. Club – We want to offer our loyal fans a bit more than the average visitor. Check out what the V.I.P Club does for you.
Presale Tickets – This is a service we are very interested in giving our fans, for free! Join our VIP club to be alerted when our Presale program is up and running.
Facebook Interaction – I know, I know! We are waaaay lagging behind on FB. Twitter is our first love, but we promise to get with the program on FB 2011.
‘Discount’ Section – We’ve teamed up with various companies that have specials and discounts for all kinds of things in Austin.. restaurants, attractions, travel and more. We will showcase these discounts for maximum savings.
