The Rippingtons Tickets – Austin Aug. 28th

The Rippington’s tickets for Austin TX have arrived! Contemporary, rock, and smooth jazz are what The Rippingtons have been for more than 20 years.

The longevity of the band has surpassed many other bands that started in the same era, which is not surprising. Whether you are flipping through the Weather Channel, hanging out at a coffee shop, or even waiting in elevators, then you’ve most likely heard some of The Rippingtons music. BUT, don’t let the setting of where you might have heard them, fool you. They’re one of the most dance-worthy jazz bands that I’ve ever heard, my favorite song is High Roller, but yours might be another from one of their other 20 albums.

Unlike most successful bands, The Rippingtons band members have been in and out of the band but Russ Freeman, the guitarist and only invariable member started The Rippingtons, in 1986. The Rippingtons have since put out 20 albums, toured many countries, and are still touring to this day. And so, if you’re a fan of The Rippingtons then you’re in luck, they’re coming to Austin, Texas on August 28, 2010, you can still get Rippington Austin tickets, but not for long.  There are literally 12 tickets left at time of this post.
